Paul L. Weber, upon graduating from the West Virginia College of Law, clerked for the Hon. Charles H. Haden, II, Chief United State District Court Judge who, in addition to presiding over the Southern District of West Virginia, served as a visiting judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Since 1991, Mr. Weber has practiced primarily insurance defense law, where he has successfully defended cases in state and federal courts and won appeals before both the West Virginia Supreme Court and Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia. His areas of practice include public sector defense (including Section 1983 claims), construction law, aviation law, medical malpractice and employment law (including wrongful discharge, discrimination and ADA claims). In addition to practicing law, Mr. Weber is an airline pilot for a national airline and an F.A.A. licensed ground and instrument flight instructor. From 1999 through 2007, Mr. Weber was a member of Moore & Weber, PLLC, which in October 2007 was integrated into Francis Nelson & Brison.
