For the last 23 years, Mr. Francis has maintained a civil litigation practice, with the primary emphasis being on insurance defense litigation. Mr. Francis has successfully defended cases dealing with a variety of subjects, including toxic tort, premises liability, sexual harassment, breach of contract, product liability, medical malpractice, vehicular accident, employer intentional act and civil rights, with alleged damages including such things as soft tissue injuries, wrongful death, occupational asthma, fibromyalgia, psychological disorder, organophosphate poisoning, multiple chemical sensitivity, severe and mild traumatic brain injury and property damage.

Mr. Francis has significant experience as lead counsel in trying numerous cases to verdict on the above subject matters, primarily on behalf of the defendant, and on occasion on behalf of the plaintiff. Mr. Francis enjoys the variety of factual and legal issues presented by the insurance defense litigation practice.
